PHTHALIC ANHYDRIDE is used as a  precursor to phthalate esters, used as plasticizers in vinyl chloride. Phthalate esters are derived from phthalic anhydride by the alcoholysis reaction. It is used in the production of flexible PVC products such as cables, pipes and hoses, leather cloth, shoes, film for packing. It is used in the production of  alkyd resins used in paints and lacquers, certain dyes, insect repellents. It is also utilised as a rubber scorch inhibitor and retarder. It is offered in Technical, Laboratory Grade. It is available in the form of White powder packed in 25 kg Bag.
