SODIUM PENTACHLOROPHENATE (SPCP) (Sodium pentachlorophenol) it is used in other multiple applications; as a molluscicide for the destruction of the snail, intermediate hosts of the human schistosomes, in an effort to control schistosomiasis; a fungicide and a bactericide in the processing of cellulosic products, starches, adhesives, proteins, leather, oils, paints, and rubber; and is incorporated into rug shampoos and textiles to control mildew problems.
